About the conductive ptfe hose.

Why does PTFE need to be conductive?
Standard PTFE is an excellent electrical insulator. In applications carrying flammable solvents or fuels, static charge builds up as fluid moves through the bore — creating a fire and explosion risk. Conductive PTFE dissipates this charge safely to earth through the SS304 braid.
What is the surface resistivity of conductive PTFE?
Conductive grade: surface resistivity ≤10⁶ Ω per EN 13463. Antistatic grade: 10⁶–10⁹ Ω. Both grades are tested and a resistivity certificate is available on request for ATEX compliance documentation.
Is all other PTFE performance retained?
Yes. Chemical resistance, temperature range, pressure ratings and flexibility are identical to standard PTFE. The only change is the addition of carbon black to the liner resin for static dissipation.
What industries require conductive PTFE?
Petrochemical, chemical processing, fuel transfer, solvent handling, paint and coatings, pharmaceutical (CIP solvent lines), semiconductor manufacturing, and any ATEX-zoned area where flammable media is transferred.
