About the pfa tube.
When should I choose PFA over PTFE or FEP?
Choose PFA when you need both the 260°C temperature ceiling of PTFE and the melt processability / lower extractables of FEP. PFA is the standard choice for semiconductor wet-process, high-purity pharmaceutical, and any application where trace contamination must be absolutely excluded.
What does SEMI F57 compliant mean?
SEMI F57 is the semiconductor industry standard for fluoropolymer components used in chemical distribution systems. It defines purity limits for extractables and leachables. SEMI F57 compliant PFA is tested and certified to these limits with documentation for fab qualification.
What temperature range does PFA handle?
PFA is rated −200°C to +260°C continuous — equal to PTFE and higher than FEP (200°C). It retains mechanical and chemical properties across the full range.
Is PFA transparent?
PFA is semi-transparent (not fully transparent like FEP). It allows partial visual monitoring of flow and fluid condition. For applications requiring full transparency, FEP is the better choice (up to 200°C service).
